Episode 3 of PartWork has landed and it's a tasty drink of harmony for sure. Tennessee Whiskey is a song that was originally released and recorded by George Jones in 1978 and then refreshed by Chris Stapleton in 2015. If you've heard this song in recent history, Chris's version is the one that you've most likely experienced and it's the version on which our arrangement is based.
It's a beautiful song in it's own right, but Layne put a slight 50's feel to it which we think really adds to the charm. Anything in 6/8 time makes our hearts thump a little louder, you know?
